Everyday, Daily BR!NK aims to feature extraordinary individuals who are pioneers in their respective industries. When our team was privileged to come across Jennifer Lilya, fashion illustrator extraordinaire, we decided to switch our interview format in order to really showcase her work, asking readers (both hers and ours) to send in questions she would answer in drawing. Before you admire the quality of Lilya’s work, here is some background information: with clients ranging from Elle to Katy Perry, the Brooklyn-based fashionista works primarily with acrylic paint and black ink to create a style that is unique and charming. In her own words, “I love the look of traditional fashion illustration, but marry that feeling with the silhouettes and pop culture references of today.”
